There are two minerates with beautiful tilework standing in Abarkooh which are the remnants of the 1000 year old Nezamieh religious school built by the order of the Saljuki minister, Nezam Almolk. You can see Allah written in Kufic handwriting in tilework on the bulk of the minarets.

We were going to visit a spring in a park in Eghlid called "Mohammad Rasool Allah" but on the way were invited by a family who were picnicking to have dinner with them. We had a nice Ashe_Reshte, an Iranian traditional version of soup, that evening. We faced Iranian hospitality on that occasion.

Abarkooh, Yazd, Kashan and other desert towns and villages in Iran had a green type of air conditioning system called Badgir in Persian which literally means wind catcher or wind tower. They suck the cooler air in and the warmer air out. We passed by this wind tower in Abarkooh.

Bel mountain is the highest one in Fars province with the altitude of 4100 m. It is located by Eghlid town.

We were passing by Damavand mountain on this trip. Damavand is the highest mountain in Iran with the altitude of 5671 m. It is an active volcano close to Tehran and had been a prominent symbol in Iranian pre-Islamic stories like Shahnameh of Ferdowsi.

Marble Throne is located in Marble palace or in Farsi "Kakhe Marmar" inside Golestan Complex in Tehran. It was built during Qajari dynasty and most of Qajari kings and the first Pahlavi king "Reza Shah" crowned themselves on this throne. Its green marble was mined from Yazd in Central Iran.

Different palaces in Golestan gardens are decorated by beautiful tilework done during Qajar Dynasty. Qajaris were very interested in tileworking.
