Question: Am finding it almost impossible to book a mid-priced hotel in Teheran, something like the New Naderi (around 40/60 USD).
None of these hotels seem to reply to any mails.
The phone numbers in Lonely Planet dont seem to work.
They dont reply to faxes either.
The only ones who did reply were over USD 100 / night (but not even all those hotels bothered to reply).
I also dont have really the chance to send money via Western Union to Turkey to pay a travel agent in Iran to book something for me....and I arrive at 22.45 at IKB and would prefer knowing where I will sleep.
Any ideas about how to get around this booking problem??
Answer: You can contact a travel agent, they will reserve the hotel for you and while you are in Iran you will pay to that agent or directly to the hotel.
