In brief, I am young, solo, British woman traveller. I would strongly advise women planning to travel to Iran (Brits in particular). I should emphasize that I met literally dozens of independent travelers who were visiting Iran and having a fantastic time. You only need to read trip reports on this forum to confirm this. Iran is a wonderful country and the Iranians are without a doubt the most welcoming people I have ever met; I made many good friends in my short stay in the country. This is a recommendation for travellers to travel to Iran. During my recent trip, I had a pretty pleasant experience with the Iranian people.
